What’s New In ActiveXperts SMS And MMS Toolkit?

SMS ActiveX Toolkit is a COM ActiveX -component to send and receive SMS messages via GSM and GPRS modems (incl.Wavecom, MultiTech, Siemens, Motorola, Falcom, Samba). If you need to send or receive MMS-MMS messages you should use the MMS ActiveX-Toolkit.
To send SMS via a modem you need a data channel established to the modem. Depending on the modem you need to check it’s procedures in your OS (or first put a SIM or PDU into it). You can use the data connection via USB or RS232 or the so called «Data-Modem-Adapter». When you have an active modem connection established you should first activate the SMS-Server in your device. To activate the SMS-Server you can use «Settings»—>»Mobile Network»—>»Settings»—>»Advanced»—>»SMS-Server» in your MS-Windows-OS.
When you have the modem connection and the SMS Server-Activated you can send SMS messages via the SMS-ActiveX-Toolkit by opening it’s GUI. You’ll see a dialog, where you can type the message and the destination address. If you don’t know the destination address you can enter the name of your mobile network as the destination address. A message will be sent to this destination address. The destination address can be any mobile phone number or email or fax. With the MMS-ActiveX-Toolkit you can send MMS messages.
In both cases the SMS-ActiveX-Toolkit comes with an additional interface called SMS-Service-Adapter, that can be used to receive SMS messages via the SMS-Server-Activated. In this case the destination address is stored in the phone.
You can use the MSN-ActiveX-Toolkit to send and receive SMS Messages via MSN. If you have a MSN-Account on your Internet-Connection you should use this toolkit.
This toolkit can’t be used to send SMS messages to a sim-card. If you have a SIM-card you should use the GSM-ActiveX-Toolkit. This toolkit can be used to send SMS messages and MMS messages to sim-cards.
The SMS-ActiveX-Toolkit is compiled to run in Microsoft Windows-Server-2000/2003/XP/Vista/7/8 and in 32-bit-Intel-or-AMD-Processors
